Rabat (IINA) – The Moroccan National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mining (ONHYM) announced the discovery of a natural gas well located within the western-central area of the Sebou Permit, onshore Morocco.
In a statement issued Monday, the office estimated a flow rate of 140,000 cubic meters of gas per day from this well, saying that production will begin at the end of June this year.
The statement pointed out that Ireland's ‘Circle Oil’ Company, a partner of the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mining in the process of exploration, confirmed the presence of three gas-bearing zones in the Sebou Permit in 2014.
