Tuesday 07 Apr 2015 - 11:05 Makkah mean time-18-6-1436 Jeddah (IINA) – Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madani received here on Monday President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his accompanying delegation.
Madani welcomed President Aliyev and expressed his appreciation of Azerbaijan for hosting several OIC conferences, including that of the Ministers of Labor, Ministers of Tourism, a Conference to Support Palestine, and most recently the Ministers in Charge of Women’s Affairs.
In turn, President Aliyev expressed his support for the OIC and urged for more engagement in dealing with the crises in the region and called for more unity and solidarity of the Muslim Ummah.
