Wednesday 25 Mar 2015 - 13:06 Makkah mean time-5-6-1436 Mogadishu (IINA) – Somalia has strongly condemned the recent statements by Sweden's Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom against Saudi Arabia’s judicial system.
"The government and people of Somalia condemn the Swedish blatant interference in the internal affairs of Saudi Arabia, which hosts citizens of different nationalities from across the world, who enjoy complete freedom,” the Somali Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued Wednesday.
The ministry described the Swedish minister's anti-Saudi remarks as "unethical and contrary to the spirit of international law", stressing that Sweden should apologize to Saudi Arabia, which fights for human rights, and provides the necessary assistance in this respect.
