Tuesday 31 Mar 2015 - 15:30 Makkah mean time-11-6-1436  Jordanian King Abdullah meets with the Iraqi Vice-President Osama Al-Nujaifi (Image from Petra) Amman, (IINA) - Jordanian King Abdullah, on Monday, received here the Iraqi Vice-President Osama Al-Nujaifi, who is currently visiting the Kingdom, Petra reported.
During the meeting, which dealt with bilateral relations and the current situation in the Middle East, King Abdullah stressed Jordan's keenness to strengthen Jordanian-Iraqi relations in various fields to achieve common interests of the two countries and their peoples.
The meeting also discussed international and regional efforts to combat terrorism and the threat of terrorist gangs and extremist ideology.
For his part, the Iraqi Vice President expressed his country's appreciation for the King's stances in support of Iraq and its people, and his tireless efforts to achieve peace and strengthen security and stability in the region.
