Rabat, (IINA) - The Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), Dr Abdulaziz Altwaijri, condemned the use of extreme violence against a Moroccan nine-year-old boy by Swedish security guards on Tuesday, in the city of Malmö.

Dr Altwaijri said that whatever allegations made against the child, treating him in such an extremely cruel way is inhuman, illegal and at odds with the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.

On this occasion, ISESCO Director General called on the Swedish authorities to take the necessary measures to hold accountable the perpetrators of such an inhuman act, protect the Swedish Muslim citizens’ rights and prevent racial and religious discrimination against them.

ISESCO Director General also urged UNICEF, as a competent organization, to condemn this violent abuse.
