Pakistan's president vows to eliminate terrorism

Kakul (IINA) – Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain said Saturday that the National Action Plan would continue till the elimination of the last terrorist to ensure peace not only within the country but also in the region, Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.
Addressing the 134th Long Course Passing Out parade at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, President Mamnoon paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces who were successfully countering the terrorists through Operation Zarb-e-Azb – a joint military offensive being conducted by the army against various militant groups.
In this event, which was also attended by Chief of Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif, the Pakistani president said the national political leadership unanimously agreed on the National Action Plan to eliminate extremism and terrorism from the country.
