GCC chief condemns terrorist attack on Bahrain's security patrol

Riyadh (IINA) – Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr Abdullatif Al-Zayani condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist act which took place in Bahrain on Saturday, killing a security man and seriously injuring others, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In a statement, Dr Al-Zayani expressed confidence that the Bahraini security authorities can apprehend the culprits, who attacked a security patrol in Manama, and bring them to justice.
He expressed the support of the GCC member countries for Bahrain in its strenuous efforts to confront terrorist organizations which aim to destabilize the country.
The GCC chief offered his condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the government and people of Bahrain, wishing the injured quick recovery.
