Arab League chief, French envoy discuss preparations for Mideast peace conference

Elaraby, French envoy discuss Middle East peace initiative

Cairo (IINA) – Secretary General of the Arab League Dr Nabil Elaraby met here on Sunday with French Envoy for the Middle East Pierre Vimont, who is currently visiting Cairo.
The meeting comes within the framework of efforts by Paris for the preparation of the international conference to renew the Middle East peace process, under the initiative made by France in this regard.
In the same context, Dr Elaraby also met with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki to discuss the French initiative and the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.
