Al-Mekhlafi lauds OIC support for Yemen

Istanbul (IINA) – Yemen's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdul Malik Al-Mekhlafi on Tuesday praised the support rendered by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to Yemen in its efforts to end the ordeal through which the country is passing. 
 At the preparatory meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers for the 13th Islamic Summit Conference, which will kick off in Istanbul on Thursday, Al-Mekhlafi said: "The Yemeni government will go to the Kuwait consultations, scheduled to be held on April 18, out of its commitment to, and proceeding from its responsibility for bringing peace, based on the principal references, represented by the UN Security Council resolution, the outcome of the National Dialogue Conference and the Gulf Initiative and its Executive Mechanism.”
