Kuala Lumpur (IINA) – Malaysia and Bulgaria signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on legal cooperation initiatives, BERNAMA reported.
The MoU was signed here on Monday by Attorney-General Mohamed Apandi Ali and Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov.
Attorney General's Chambers of Malaysia (AGC) said in a statement that the MoU was aimed at establishing a platform for relations on legal cooperation between Malaysia, as represented by the AGC, and the government of Bulgaria, as represented by the Ministry of Justice.
"This MoU is not only a tool to strengthen the existing professional ties between the legal officers of both countries, but the cooperation is also an important forum for the exchange of information, experience, knowledge and best practices involving legal issues for the mutual benefit of both parties," it said.
