Bahraini, Qatari FMs discuss strengthening GCC joint action

Wednesday 24 Feb 2016 - 20:40 Makkah mean time-15-5-1437 Bahraini FM Sheikh Khalid Al Khalifa (R) met Qatari FM Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani Manama (IINA) – Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa met here on Wednesday with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who is currently on s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. According to a statement by the Bahraini Foreign Ministry, the meeting saw coordination of views and discussed a number of topics related to ways of reinforcing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) joint action and the stability of the region as well as how to confront the many challenges facing the Gulf states and peoples. Both ministers stressed their countries' keenness on furthering bilateral relations at all levels. AB/IINA
