Turkish firm to build glass factory in Turkmenistan

Ashgabat, Turkmenistan (IINA) - The government of Turkey has recently stated that Turkish 'Tepe Construction and Trading' will build a glass factory in Turkmenistan, Trend News Agency reported.
According to the statement, the company will also build a quartz sand-producing plant, which will be used as the principal raw material for the production of the glass.
The factory will be located in the Derweze district of Turkmenistan’s Akhal province.
The glass plant is designed to produce seven types of glass products, including transparent and tinted, laminated and tempered glass with a thickness of four millimeters. The factory is set to produce 85 million units of various transparent and colored glass containers.
