King Abdullah of Jordan stresses need to revive Mideast peace talks

Amman (IINA) – King Abdullah II of Jordan stressed the need to create an appropriate climate to restore momentum to Palestinian-Israeli peace talks, and revive peace negotiations that address all final status issues in line with the two-state solution and international legitimacy resolutions, Petra reported.
At a meeting held here on Monday with a British parliamentary delegations, the King highlighted the role of concerned international parties, mainly Britain, to achieve progress that leads to a just and comprehensive peace in the region. He said the continuation of violence and instability in the region will lead to further terrorism and extremism.
King Abdullah reiterated the need to intensify efforts by regional and international parties to firmly deal with terrorism and terror organizations within a holistic approach.
