Cairo (IINA) – The Egyptian Foreign Ministry considered the unrest in some Ethiopian cities over the recent days, as an internal affair of the East African country.
Ministry's spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid on Monday underlined that the recent disorders in Ethiopia is an Ethiopian internal affair, pointing out that Egypt is looking forward to the continued stabilization and completion of the comprehensive economic and social development programs in Ethiopia for the benefit and prosperity of the Ethiopian people.
Abu Zeid added in his Monday's comment that Ethiopia is an important country in the African continent, and that its stability and safety reinforces the interest of the continent, including that of Egypt.
