Bahrain, Oman discuss media cooperation
Muscat (IINA) – Bahraini Minister of Information and Parliament Affairs Isa Al-Hammadi discussed with his Omani counterpart Dr Abdul Monem Al-Hasni, the areas of media cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
They also discussed during the meeting in the Omani capital, Muscat, the exchange of experiences between the two countries' news agencies, radio and television, as well as the prospects of media coordination between the two nations in general, within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Al-Hammadi underscored the key role of the media in strengthening the Bahraini-Omani relations and highlighting deep-rooted fraternal ties binding both countries.
On his part, Dr Abdul Monem stressed the importance of promoting bilateral relations and exchanging experiences mainly in the media field.
