Saudi officials meet with Pakistani counterparts in Islamabad

Islamabad, (IINA) - The delegation of Saudi-Pakistani Friendship Committee of Shura Council has met here on Thursday with the president and other members of the Saudi-Pakistani Parliamentary Friendship Committee Group in the National Assembly of Pakistan, SPA reported.
The Saudi delegation was headed by Dr. Atallah Abu Hassan, Deputy Chairman of Saudi-Pakistani Friendship Committee.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Abu Hassan said that the meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in various fields, especially at the parliamentary level, in addition to the review of regional and international issues of common interest.
For his part, Vice Chairman of National Assembly of Pakistan, Murtaza Abbasi said that the visit of the Saudi Shura Council delegation will contribute to the promotion and development of ties between the legislatures of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in addition to the exchange of views and experiences on areas of mutual cooperation, regional developments, and international developments.
