Bethlehem, (IINA) - Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Yousef Adeis stated that no Palestinian casualties were reported yet in Mina’s stampede, SAWA reported.
He added that he is contacting the Saudi authorities to inquire about the latest developments of this tragic incident.
The minister called on the Palestinian media to exercise caution when publishing news related to the incident, stressing the need to rely on the official sources only.
In a related discourse, the President Mahmoud Abbas directives the Palestine's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to follow the stampede news in Mina, Ma’an News Agency reported.
Abbas also offered his condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and to the families of the martyrs, wishing fast recovery to the injured pilgrims and praying Allah to rest those martyrs in paradise.
