Pakistani delegation heads to India to discuss easing border tension

Islamabad, (IINA) - A Pakistani delegation headed to India on Wednesday in its bid to ease the tension occurring along the borders of the two countries.
A spokesman for the Pakistani Border Guards said that the delegation is comprised of 16 members and is being led by Major General Omar Farouk, chief of Pakistani Border Guards.
According to SPA, the Pakistani delegation will hold talks with the officials of the Indian Border Guards in the capital New Delhi for a duration of three days, and they will discuss border issues in accordance with the mechanisms agreed upon between the two countries.
