Makkah, (IINA) -  Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman said that youth are the real resources of every nation, providing impetus for development. He made the remarks in an inaugural speech, delivered on his behalf by Makkah Governor Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, at the 16th Makkah Conference being organized by the Muslim World League (MWL).
The King said the Muslim Ummah must train their youth in science and technology to enable them to succeed in the world. They should also be taught the path of correct Islam based on moderation and rejection of extremism. “The youth are the real wealth of every nation, and they represent the backbone of development. Our youth live in a world that has an intense competition between nations, with each nation thriving to build a civilization of intellect and knowledge, the two factors that have undisputedly become the language of this era.”
On behalf of the King, Prince Khaled conveyed the condolences of the Kingdom to the families of the victims of the crane crash accident. He said the Kingdom is carrying out mega projects in developing the two holy mosques and the holy sites and it is honored to serve the two holy mosques.
