Rabat (IINA) – Deputy Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Dr Amina Al-Hajri Al-Hajri will take part in the closing ceremony of the 10th session of the British Young Muslim Leadership Program (YMLP) in Oxford on Friday.
The session is organized and hosted by Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, in collaboration with Prince Charles Charities and with the support of ISESCO, the Amanah Foundation and Barclays.
This gathering, which kicked off on August 30, aims to enhance the British young Muslims’ confidence in their cultural and religious identity, in order to be aware of their responsibilities toward the wider society. It also aims to introduce them to the diversity of opportunities available to them in the British society, and to develop their leadership skills.
It further aims to educate these young people on the ways to benefit from each other's experiences, and that of the communities they belong to.
