Jeddah, (IINA) - The Secretary General of ISESCO Dr Abdulaziz Al-Twaijri released a statement on Thursday where he wrote about how Hajj reflects a clear manifestation of Islamic unity in all its rituals and details.
The ISESCO chief said that the concept of true equality is seen in Hajj, where all people’s differences of race, gender, color, and language are dissolved, and pilgrims are only held accountable for the purity of their rituals.
He added, “The nation needs to embody the meanings of unity and cooperation in righteousness and piety and not in sin and transgression, which is achieved through adhering to the teachings of Islam and its virtuous values”.
He also said, “The result of an accepted Hajj is forgiveness and a great reward, as Mohammad (peace be upon him) said “Whoever performs Hajj and does not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commits sin, then he returns from Hajj as pure and free from sins as on the day on which his mother gave birth to him””.
