Amman (IINA) – Some 90 Jordanian veterinary doctors, who were hired by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to check the livestock to be slaughtered during this Hajj season, left on Saturday for the holy sites in Saudi Arabia, under an annual cooperation program with the IDB.
Head of the Jordanian Veterinary Association Dr Nabil Allubani said Saturday in a press statement that the mission, which includes doctors from the public and private sectors, comes within the framework of cooperation with the Jeddah-based IDB that oversees Saudi Arabia's Project for Utilization of Sacrificial Meat, and has annually been hiring Jordanian veterinary doctors for this purpose since 15 years.
