Riyadh (IINA) - Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court announced on Monday that standing at Arafat, which marks the climax of the annual pilgrimage of Hajj, will be on Wednesday, Sept. 23 (Dhul Hijjah 9). The first day of the Eid Al-Adha will be on Thursday, Sept. 24, according to a statement from the Supreme Court.
Since there were no confirmed reports of sighting the Dhul Hijjah crescent on Sunday evening, today (Monday) will be considered as Dhul Qada 30 and tomorrow (Tuesday) will the first day of the month of Dhul Hijjah, the statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency reported. As of Sunday, a total of 1,030,584 pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom from various parts of the world.
