French FM Laurent Fabius
Tehran (IINA) – French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius will start a visit to Iran on July 29, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported.
Based on a report by AFP on Tuesday, Fabius said all preparations are in place for the Iran visit.
Fabius is scheduled to meet with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif and President Hassan Rouhani.
Speaking to a French radio program, Fabius said that he is visiting Iran as “a political figure”, adding that no delegation from French companies is to accompany him.
The French foreign minister’s to Iran is taking place only days after the historic nuclear deal reached between Iran and the world’s major powers (P5+1).
