Riyadh (IINA) – Yemen's President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi received Wednesday, a phone call from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Yemen News Agency (SABA) reported that the two sides discussed, during the call, the United Nations' efforts to implement the UN Security Council resolution 2216.
They also reviewed the humanitarian developments in light of the continued targeting of the safe cities and residential neighborhoods, the latest of which is Mansoura district of Aden province, targeted early Wednesday, leading to the death of more than 25 people and injury of over 100, according to SABA agency.
They further discussed the obstruction of the humanitarian relief work and the destruction of sea ports by the Houthi militias in their pursuit to prevent the entry of the desperately needed relief ships, including those of the United Nations.
