Yemen’s Hadi may attend OIC emergency meeting on Yemen today

Tuesday 16 Jun 2015 - 11:46 Makkah mean time-29-8-1436 Jeddah (IINA) – Yemen’s President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi may attend an emergency ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Yemen, be held today (Tuesday) in Jeddah, a source told the International Islamic News Agency (IINA). Yemeni Foreign Minister Riad Yassin earlier told IINA that there are arrangements for the participation of President Hadi in the meeting, which will be attended by the foreign ministers of the OIC member states. OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani had announced convening this meeting pursuant to a request from the government of Yemen, coupled with the approval of a majority of the member states. AB/IINA
