At a press conference, State Minister for Social Security Ibrahim Adam Ibrahim commended the efforts exerted by the Sudanese youth, saying that they help mobilize the community through their various initiatives and engagement with the people.
He said the Sudanese community is in need of such initiatives especially those which look for chaste poor families and the needy people.
Ibrahim called on the people to adhere to the lofty values of Islam and to continue rendering food and assistance for the needy, pointing out that the youth should always remain in the frontline to serve their communities.
Dr Shogar Bashar, chairman of the Youth Union, said the program will cover all the country’s states and that the convoys have already been dispatched to various states and started working in implimentation of the initiative. As an example, the union has refurbished over 3,000 mosques and prepared 80,000 Ramadan aid kits for poor families.
