Moroccan King donates14 tons of medicines to Gabon

Libreville, Gabon (IINA) - King Muhammad of Morocco has donated 14 tons of medicines and medical equipment, including two tons of medicines to treat opportunistic infections associated with HIV/AIDS, for the Gabonese health authorities, Morocco World News reported.
The royal donation, announced by the Muhammad Foundation for Sustainable Development for Gabonese institutions that take care of HIV patients, include antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal drugs.
As for the 12 tons of medicines and medical-technical equipment, they include a Moroccan aid to health care facilities in Gabon.
This assistance is made up of notably conventional drugs in psychiatry, neurology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, cardiology, anesthesia, intensive care, pulmonology, otorhinolaryngology, dermatology and allergology.
There are also medical devices, including table-top autoclaves (sterilizers), electronic blood pressure monitors, infrared thermometers, electrocardiographs, and medical fungibles (consumables and surgical products).
