Arizona, (IINA) - Amid increasing anti-Muslim sentiments, a group of American students are leading efforts to reach a common ground between followers of different faiths, where they promote interfaith to combat religious intolerance.
“In college, students are forced into an environment that is ripe in diversity,” Johnny, a Muslim student in Arizona State University, told USA Today on Saturday.
The importance of these interfaith activities maximized after the release of a report by Pew Research Center saying that the Muslim population will surpass the population of Christians by 2070, OnIslam reported.
The report also revealed that Islam will increase faster than the population of the world from 2010 to 2050 with a 35 percent growth.
