Islamabad (IINA) – Son of Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain escaped unhurt in a bomb attack in southwestern Balochistan late Sunday, Xinhua news agency reported, citing police.
Five policemen in the escort team of Talat Mamnoon and six other people were injured in the bomb blast at the industrial town of Hub, located about 31 kilometers from the port city of Karachi.
Police officer Abdul Rashid said that bomb was attached to a motorbike that targeted the security personnel of the Talat Mamnoon.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the assault. However, the authorities blame such attacks on insurgents.
