Riyadh, (IINA) - Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman held talks here on Thursday with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on major developments in the region, especially the progress of the operation “Decisive Storm”, according to media reports.

Their meeting at Al-Ouja Palace in Dir'iya was held in the presence of Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Premier Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz. King Hamad commended King Salman for taking important initiatives “that have saved the region from many dangers.”

During the meeting, both leaders discussed the solid bilateral ties between both countries. They affirmed keenness to bolster them so as to reach the highest levels of fruitful and constructive cooperation and joint action in order to meet the two peoples' aspirations for more progress and prosperity.

The two leaders also discussed the latest Arab and global developments, especially the situation in Yemen, within the framework of their shared keenness on coordinating and consulting at all levels.
