Manama (IINA) – Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received here on Sunday visiting Commander of the U.S. Central Command General Lloyd J. Austin, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
King Hamad took pride in strong historic relations between Bahrain and the U.S. as well as growing cooperation between both countries in various fields. He stressed joint keenness to boost relations of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly nations, mainly in the military field.
The King underscored Bahrain's support to all efforts aimed at promoting regional security and stability, stressing the U.S. key role in maintaining global peace. He also stressed the efforts of General Austin in bolstering bilateral cooperation.
