Tunisia’s Mufti Sheikh Hamda Saeed

Tunis (IINA) – Tunisia’s Mufti Sheikh Hamda Saeed has condemned the terrorist attack on the National Bardo Museum, which killed 22 people, including 20 foreign tourists and injuring 50 others. He described the attack as "a heinous crime against the country, the people and religion."

Sheikh Saeed, in a statement on Thursday, called on the "Tunisians to have patience and fortitude and not to surrender to terrorism". He also called on them to be extra vigilant and cautious, to set aside all forms of their differences, and to stand shoulder to shoulder for unity in the face of the enemy, and support for the armed forces and security personnel."
