Monday 23 Mar 2015 - 12:47 Makkah mean time-3-6-1436  Sharm el Sheikh preparing to host 26th Arab summit (Google image) Sharm el Sheikh, (IINA) - Egypt and the Secretariat of Arab League are preparing to host the 26th Arab League Summit in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh on March 28 and 29, WAM reported.
The summit will discuss, among others, national security issues, including growing threats from ISIS, the war in Syria, the crises in Libya and Yemen, as well the Palestinian- Israeli conflict.
The preparatory meetings, which will kick off on Monday in Sharm el Sheikh ahead of the 26th Arab League Summit, will be attended by senior officials of the Social and Economic Council. They will submit their resolutions to the meeting of the Arab Ministers of Trade & Economy.
Ambassador Tariq Adel, Egypt's permanent delegate to the Arab League, stated that this Summit will be an opportunity for Arab leaders to deliberate on the issues and challenges facing the region, and how best to tackle them.
